Richard Feynman in Yorkshire

I found this amazing footage of the famous physicist Richard Feynman walking in Millbank, West Yorkshire, just down the road from where we live. His wife was from the area and apparently he was quite a regular visitor.

Here’s a photograph of the Weir on Lumb Beck that features in the film, taken earlier this year.

Towards the end of the video Feynman visits the Old Bridge Inn in Ripponden. A pub that first starting serving in the 1300s that is still going strong today. There’s a plaque on the wall inside that commemorates Feynman’s visits.
