White and Wild by wilshire|oneShamania 2007
Just got back from Shamania 2007, and despite the fact I’ve been suffering from a bad cold and headaches, I’ve had a fantastic time.
The event kicked off with Runic John’s amusing and strangely elevating opening ceremony, the kind that makes everybody present feel that they are welcome and an integral part of the proceedings.
The music was awesome, my favourites being Logic Bomb, System 7, Ed Tangent, Flanny and Bez 23.
I did a little talk about pagaian.org, which was short but well received.
The weather was not too bad considering recent events, and the sunset behind Pendle Hill on Saturday evening will stay with me forever.
The lovely Positivi-tea crew were on hand with their amazing Cathedral tent, as were the Hebden Bridge acoustic crew with Sunny Jims’ Solar Cabaret.
A big thanks to Ade, Warwick and the Intensive Care Bear for a lovely Weekend.
