NGG 2006

Just got back from the NGG 2006 and despite all the rain I had a very interesting time.

I only actually did one talk, in the Earth Spirit area on Saturday afternoon, which went pretty well and garnered a few positive comments afterwards.

The rest of the festival was soggy, and not well attended, which was a shame considering the fantastic performances by local bands Tetchi and the Electric Brains.

The Leeds Positivi – tea crew were on site with an amazing cathedral sized tent, and sophisticated electronic sounds to keep us entertained throughout the night.

I also attended a few workshops myself, including one very close to my heart on the need for people to get to grips with Linux.
