Last sunday (24/09/06) I climbed up the highest peak in this area with Zoe and a few friends. It was a tough climb but we were well rewarded when we reached the top – fine views extending from Blackpool Tower in the north west, to Drax power station in the south east. To the north we could easily make out the three peaks in the Yorkshire Dales, and to the south Black Hill and the Peak District.
